Portinscale is a small village situated 2
miles west of Keswick on the west side of
Derwent Water.
The village is popular for its two water
sports centres, boat trips, biking, scenic
walking routes, and hiking the extremely
popular 1,480ft Cat Bells hills, one of the
most popular hikes in the Lake District.
